Yesterday I met up with James from PrimalFly.com for some L.A. River Fishing!

This being my second time to the river, I figured this would be a good oppurtunity for me to learn some new skillz.

James quickly showed me the ropes and explained, how to target these fish. Some cool things to know about these fish is that they tend to cruise in the shallows looking for food, they mouth the food(meaning they’ll suck it in and spit it out), so hooking one can be difficult if you can’t see it.

Watching James hook one of these thingz, had to be one of the neatest sights, the fight these fish give is awesome!
