I just found a cheap way to get some great action on the fly. Fly fishing for sunfish! This little bluegill put up quite a fight for its size. I caught it on a bead-head nymph with a strike indicator. It bit on a medium-slow strip. But alas…my 5wt was overkill. I really need to get a 2wt to make things more sporting.

There was also a ton of top water action using a dry fly. Lot’s of little 2-4″ black bass to practice setting your hook!
